Fitness has been a vital part of my life since the age of 12. Now, after being in the industry my entire adult life, I still love coming into work and I am proud of what “we represent” at Lethbridge Fitness. I have interacted with so many great members over the past 30 years and have had the luxury to work with incredible staff. Everday seems to be uniquely special. In my spare time I enjoy music (I was the legendary frontman of the BillyGoatz), the occasional fishing trip, spending time with my wife Nicole and daughters Julia and Sofia, and off coarse, hitting the weight- room.

As a personal trainer for 11 plus years, I have trained people of all ages and abilities with a special interest in addressing movement dysfunctions and post rehab training. Fitness is an integral part of many people’s lives but often we embark on a path that causes us more ‘pain’ than ‘gain’.Identifying weak links in a person’s body is very important – you can’t build a strong house without a solid foundation first.
No matter what your goal: feeling better overall, weight loss, performance training, improving movement mechanics, my goal is to create an environment of success to help you discover your full potential by adopting a positive mindset, healthy eating strategies and training smarter.
I am a Licenced Zumba Fitness Instructor, qualified to instruct Zumba, Zumba Toning and Zumba Kids. As a “late comer” to the fitness world, it has been a transformative and satisfying experience.
I find such joy in the energy created in a class when music, dancing and carefree expression come together! What began as a fun way for me to get moving, quickly turned into a passion and spurs me onward to continue my education in the field of fitness. Opening doors to new and exciting possibilities, I am currently working towards completing my AFLCA.

I am Yvonne Bainbridge and I thoroughly enjoy my opportunity to teach and share my passion for health and wellness at Lethbridge Fitness! I completed my 200 hour yoga certification in the wonderful mountains of Fernie, BC with Essential Yoga Studio’s in 2011! Since I have added to my fitness passions by completing my Personal Trainer Certification, Group TRX qualification, Bender Barre and PiYo. My own passions for fitness have led me to complete two marathons, a triathlon and who knows what adventure may be next. I love having the opportunity to share my passion while encouraging and motivating members to believe that they can do amazing things with their bodies even if it is something as simple as laying still to enjoy a savasana!
I have been Personal Training for 23 years and still love it. I started sharing what I learned from my own training in competitive bodybuilding, to training others for the same. I work at helping others get the most out of their busy schedules, to make it manageable to live a healthy lifestyle while juggling busy work loads and family. I received my Certification with the National Federation of Professional Trainers in 2000 and have enjoyed a career sharing what I have learned over the years with many clients from ages 14-75 and all walks of life. I spent 3 years working with the Warner Hockey School working with the staff on team nutrition and the importance of eating well for sports performance. I enjoy hiking, golfing, mountain biking, photography and pretty much anything associated with technology. I have been at Lethbridge Fitness since its beginning making many great friends throughout the years.
Health and fitness have been a passion of mine for many years. It all started with a yoga class… I fell hook, line and sinker, in love with yoga from the first time I unrolled my mat!! My love of yoga took me to Vikasa Yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand for my 200 hr certification in 2016. It was then that yoga became so much more to me than a workout. It truly became a way of life. I also have a certification in Aerial Yoga (completed Feb 2017). I will be taking the Yin Yoga course in April of 2017 as well as heading back to Thailand for my advanced 300 hr certification in October of 2017. I look forward to sharing my passion of yoga with you! Namaste.
Meagan has been practicing Yoga for the past 5 years and began her teaching journey last fall with a 200 hour certification course. She first came to Yoga to reduce mental and physical stress. She integrates alignment principles with creative sequences to help students quiet their minds and connect to their bodies. She aims to create an inviting, caring space for students of all levels and backgrounds.
I am a lifelong fitness enthusiast, including running, swimming, dance, and competitive bodybuilding.
Following a 25 year career in nursing, I obtained my yoga instructor’s certificate in 2017, and am pleased to be a new instructor at the Fitness Club.

My name is Victoria de Groot. I am a wife and a mom of two little people. I am an AFLCA certified group fitness instructor, a Fit 4 Two pre and postnatal fitness specialist, and a MOC Barre method certified instructor. My desire is to help others live an active and healthy lifestyle. I want to help people get stronger and healthier and find enjoyment in moving!
I joined the fitness industry in 2010, obtained my AFLCA group exercise designation and have been teaching cycling classes ever since! In 2013 I received my AFLCA resistance trainer certification, and began teaching bootcamps and more strength focused type classes. In 2014 I became certified to teach TRX. My enthusiasm and passion for fitness inspired me to become an instructor. I have a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Lethbridge and practice as a Registered Nurse. My career as a RN, and journey as a fitness instructor reminds me every day about the importance of keeping a healthy body and mind. I am a Mom of two, Peyton and Sienna, and want to share my love of fitness with them and you! I have always been active in sports. I am an avid runner, and love to run half marathons, pushing myself to my maximum potential each and every time. I hope you will join me in class and am very excited to be part of the team at Lethbridge Fitness!!!
I have a love and dedication for fitness that has grown for almost 25 years! I love group fitness classes and teach almost everything, including spin, zumba, yoga, mat pilates, resistance, TRX, step, ball and sports specific training. I have had many roles in the fitness world that have allowed me to travel, present, teach and learn. I have a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science as well as certifications in personal training, group exercise, nutrition and mind/body. Of all my accomplishments, I am most proud of being wife and mom (and soon to be grandma!). I have a depth of knowledge and a love of fitness that I am anxious to share with you – join me for a workout today!

I am excited to be a part of the team here at Lethbridge Fitness. When I moved from Saskatchewan to Lethbridge to attend College, the Lethbridge Fitness is where I would work out; it is a great accomplishment for me to teach fitness classes here part-time. I am energetic and very engaging, I enjoy meeting the new people in my classes and I look forward to working here part-time along side my full-time job and parenting my two beautiful children.

Physical fitness has been an interest of mine from a young age. Through my experiences in the fitness industry I have discovered that training is more than striving to reach a smaller number on the scale; it is lowering health risks to be around for loved ones, improving mobility to become more independent, increasing energy, improving how you feel on the inside as well as on the outside, and most importantly improving quality of life. Coming into the gym we all have a reason for being here, we all have goals, and one of my biggest goals is to help others achieve their goals. I believe strength comes in all shapes and sizes don’t waste your time trying to be someone else. Embrace who you are and build your own strength!
On my own time I love to be outside whether it is hiking, camping, or playing ultimate frisbee. Travelling has been another big interest of mine. I have been fortunate enough to have toured around the states and many countries in Europe. Life is too short to live the same day twice so keep it interesting.
After discovering my love for fitness through a friends bootcamp, I decided to get my CanFitPro Fitness Instructor Specialist Certificate in 2012. Since then I have been able to pursue my passion in fitness and yoga. I taught bootcamp style classes from 2012 to just before my son was born in 2015. I am currently working towards my 200 hour yoga certification through YogaFit Canada. I have been teaching yoga since completing my YogaFit Level 1 in 2013. My passion for fitness has given me many opportunities that I would have never imagined before I started this journey.
I am so excited to be joining the Lethbridge Fitness Team! I fell in love with Zumba about 4 years ago right here in this gym. Shortly after, I became a licensed instructor and have been teaching ever since. I love to share my passion for this exercise-in-disguise and am now excited to bring a new program, STRONG by Zumba, to an even wider variety of fitness enthusiasts.
Deanna Mikado has 14 years of experience as a massage therapist and currently works with a multidisciplinary team of health practitioners at Elite Sports Medicine. She has a passion for Yoga, and believes that daily practice not only promotes physical and mental wellness, but it also helps to generate mindfulness and positivity to all aspects of life. Deanna brings her knowledge of anatomy and physiology and her experience as a healer to gently lead fellow yoga practitioners as they find balance and strength.

Hi there! My name is Cindy Scott and I have been a certified group exercise instructor for more than 20 years! I teach cycle, body sculpt, step, and hi/lo fitness classes but my true passion is Zumba! I am licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Step, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, and Zumba Sentao. I love teaching and getting to know my participants so I hope you will join me soon for a class!
Belinda has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years.
She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher as well as a certified Fusion Instructor.
Belinda believes in a class structure that supports all students from beginner to advanced.
I have recently been certified through AFLCA and hold certifications in group fitness, portable equipment, Ever Active Kids, Total Barre and booty barre. I currently teach Barre, Strength and Core classes. Fitness has always been a part of my life: I have trained and competed in Ballet, Tap and Jazz for 15 years. In my spare time I like to water ski, snow ski, golf, train at the gym, ride bikes with my family and travel. I am an active volunteer in my daughter’s school as well as in many other organizations throughout the city
As a driven individual who is passionate about improving the lives of others and promoting a balanced lifestyle, it is my pleasure to be a fitness instructor. With over five years of experience, I’ve had the opportunity to train multiple age groups and athletes at varying fitness levels. It is my goal to improve your physical health and empower you to practice a healthy lifestyle. I have been a member of the Fitness Club since 1992 and instructing classes for close to 15 years. Being physically active has always been important to me. I believe that the key to a healthy mind and body is variety as well as challenging yourself in everything you do. I enjoy leading cardio, cycle and Yoga classes as well I am a marathon runner, tri-athlete, wife and mother of two very active boys. The best part about instructing at the Fitness Club is the members I have met through the years. I would love to see you at one of my classes!

My name is Jeannie Williamson and fitness has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was a competitive athlete, coach and judge for many years and then completed my Bachelor of Physical Education degree from the University of Calgary. I also hold fitness instructor and personal training certifications from CanFitPro and ACE fitness and have been teaching all types of fitness classes for over 10 years. I love teaching and sharing my passion for health and wellness with those around me and find it very rewarding having a hand in helping others reach their fitness goals. When I’m not instructing fitness classes I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children!
My name is Naphtali Willms and I am privileged to be a part of the Lethbridge Fitness team. I have been a Lethbridge Fitness member in both the old and new facilities! I have a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the Universityof Lethbridgeand am employed at the Lethbridge Correctional Centre as a Registered Nurse. In the spring of 2010, I obtained my AFLCA certification in Group Exercise Leadership and have since been instructing group fitness cycling, bootcamp and strength training classes. I am passionate about an active, healthy lifestyle! I personally enjoy exercising and have noticed the benefits in my life both physically and psychologically. In my group fitness classes I strive to positively motivate, encourage and challenge participants while providing freedom and flexibility to achieve their personal fitness goals. Hope to see you soon!
